Vilnius city municipalities The administration signed a contract for construction works with the company "Conresta" for the construction of a nursery-kindergarten in Verkių ward, Bajorai. The value of construction works reaches 5 million. EUR with VAT. The work, including the preparation of the work project, will have to be completed within 12 months from the entry into force of the contract. The contractor must provide the contract security within 5 working days, after which the contract will enter into force.
"The need for kindergartens in Vilnius is not decreasing, so we are creating the infrastructure necessary for preschool education services. In the past few years, we have done more in the field of public education infrastructure than has been done since the declaration of independence, and we are not going to stop," said Povilas Poderskis, director of the administration of the Vilnius city municipality.
The future kindergarten will be able to accommodate 240 children. There are 3 places for children from 7 to 198 years old, and 3 places for children from one and a half to 42 years old. The total area of the kindergarten will reach 3,5 thousand. sq. m.
According to Rasa Čeponytė, the director of the company "Vilniaus vystymo kompaniya", which provides design management and construction management services, this nursery-kindergarten will be a building of modern architecture, with geothermal heating designed in it. Children's playgrounds have been designed in the territory, and for the convenience of parents parking lot.
"This contractor not only managed to complete the work on time at Vilnius Gabija Gymnasium this year, but also worked in a high-quality and professional manner. We hope that the work will be done on time and smoothly in this project as well", said R. Čeponytė.
The kindergarten in Vilnius will be built at Bajoru kelias 10. The entrance to the territory of the kindergarten and access to the buildings is planned from the existing street of Bajoru kelias, with a newly designed asphalt surface entrance. The technical project of the kindergarten-nursery was prepared by the company Panevėžys statybos trestas.
A building information model (BIM) will be used during the implementation of the project. Digitization of the works of "Vilnius development company" includes not only the use of BIM in various stages of the construction project, but also the electronic log of construction works. The system of the electronic logbook of construction works allows for standardized, prompt, transparent and safe storage of records about ongoing works.
