Tens of thousands of visitors were impressed by the festival of lanterns and light "1000 lights" returns to Rumšiškes.
The renewed magical world of light installations will be reborn in Rumšiškės from December 15. This year, visitors can expect new light sculptures made especially for Lithuania, a slightly adjusted route and surprises that will allow them to enjoy the festival in a truly unique museum environment.
"Last year, there was a lot of interest in the festival, so this year we decided to create more new sculptures and laser installations, and we also slightly changed the route so that visitors can enjoy both the festival and the unique environment of the museum. Thus, this year's visitors will be greeted by a completely renewed festival of lanterns and light "1000 lights", say the organizers of the event.
This year's festival features more than 30 luminous compositions, which will consist of more than 300 individual light sculptures. Also, the enchanting forest of light has been updated and new spaces decorated with laser play.
As you walk along the magical trail of lights, you will be accompanied by various illuminated birds and animals of Lithuanian forests and meadows, flowers, fairy tale motifs and other lantern sculptures inspired by Lithuanian culture and history.
This magical trip will be interesting for all family members. The Lantern Festival "1000 Lights" will be open from 2022. December 15 until 2023 February 12 in Rumšiškės.
