From Monday, massage services will be available, as well as beauty salons in shopping centers, according to the Ministry of Economy and Innovation.
"The Ministry of Economy and Innovation, having received business questions regarding massage activities, informs that massage services can be provided from February 15. Masseurs, like other individual service providers, must provide 20 sq. meters of service area per client or to serve no more than one person, if the duration of the massage is longer than 15 minutes", the ministry reported.
According to the Ministry, medical massages, which can only be provided by licensed healthcare professionals, are still only available with a doctor's referral.
From Monday, beauty, like other individual services, will be available in shopping centers.
"In the provision of individual beauty services, the same requirements will apply as for other individual services. If the beauty salon has several separate rooms, they can operate simultaneously, serving the customer separately in each room," the Ministry of Economy and Innovation states.
On Wednesday, the government allowed stores, beauty salons, and hairdressers with a separate entrance from the outside to resume operations.
When providing services with a duration of up to 15 minutes, the set limitation of the flow of service recipients is left, that is, the service recipient must be provided with 10 sq. meters area, and in the case of services that last longer than 15 minutes, 20 sq. meters of service provision area, or if the area of the premises where the service is provided to a specific service recipient is less than 20 sq. meters, no more than one service recipient must be served at the same time.
