Presidential advisor Ridas Jasiulionis is being forcibly evicted from his residence, a lawsuit was filed with the court by the mother of his children.
In order to protect personal life, Vilnius City District Court Judge Jelena Leščinskienė decided to grant the request of plaintiff Eglė Gabrytė and to hear the civil case in private.
"This also concerns our young children," said E. Gabrytė, requesting a closed hearing.
"No further publicity is needed," the judge agreed to the request.
E. Gabrytė told reporters that she had submitted a request for the hearing to be kept private even before the court hearing.
The hearing lasted only half an hour, after which the couple, accompanied by the judge, left the courtroom through a different exit.
"This is a personal matter," R. Jasiulionis told reporters and did not comment further on his case.
