The "Let's meet, dear seniors" project, which has been running for the third year, presented free classes for the elderly that started a couple of weeks ago. This year, creative workshops and health promotion classes are held in the newly established "Seniors' Beehive". The organizers of the project, the public institution "Sekmės idėja", are happy with the abundant activity of seniors and involvement in free activities donated by the IKI shopping network.
"First of all, I want to thank the IKI shopping chain, not only for today's wonderful breakfast and the gift of food for all of us, but also for believing in the idea of our project and becoming the main sponsor of the project, thanks to which we can invite seniors to engage in free activities, discover new hobbies and enjoy life every day. It is very good for us to work with people who really sincerely care that the senior citizens of our country live with dignity and fun. I would also like to thank everyone who contributes to this project, because without your help and advice, we would not have what we have today - a quality ongoing project. We would like to thank the IKI trade network, partners: dental clinic CLINIC|DPC and eye clinic "Lirema". For all information project partners. Your contribution to the project is extremely significant for all project participants. Thanks to you, we can see that we will really grow the project and expand it to other Lithuanian cities. And I want to wish all the seniors attending the classes new impressions and experiences. You have wonderful teachers who give their all to you, so give them back in kind. During these three years of the project's existence, we have created an amazing community, so don't be afraid, help and trust each other. And if you have people in your environment who do not dare, are afraid to come - bring them to our family. Every person, first of all, needs a person, and as you can see, we really have people here," Edgaras Stanišauskas, the project initiator and representative of the public institution "Sekmė iideja", congratulated the project participants.

During the project "Let's meet, dear seniors", older people in Vilnius and Beautiful until the end of the year, you are invited to try as many as 4 activities and discover the one you like the most: health promotion (line dancing) with stage professional Dalia Michelevičiūta, art with painter and exhibition curator Linus Liandzbergi, creative workshops with craftsman Kristina Račkauskaite and calanetics with trainer Toma Pešten.
"We are very happy to be a part of such a large and united community. During these few weeks, during which various activities of the project took place, we heard a lot of positive feedback from the participants themselves and their relatives. We hope that their circle will continue to expand throughout the duration of the project and we will be able to help even more elderly people discover the joy of life with new activities. Today, the positivity and smiles visible on their faces are the greatest thanks to us, so we are proud to be able to contribute to the fact that older people in Lithuania can do what they really deserve - enjoy life, discover new hobbies, expand the circle of acquaintances - and we will continue to do that." - Andrej Pometko, marketing manager of the IKI shopping network, said in his welcome speech.
