Vilnius police is appealing to the public for help in identifying a young man caught on video surveillance cameras and suspected of a violent incident that occurred on June 7.
As announced by the Vilnius County Chief Police Commissariat, the pre-trial investigation is being conducted in accordance with Article 140, Part 1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Lithuania - for causing physical pain or minor health impairment.
The incident occurred on June 7 at around 17:30 p.m. at a shuttle bus stop on Sodų Street in Vilnius. According to the police, when the bus stopped and the doors opened, an unknown young man pushed another person, who fell from the impact. The young man also kicked the fallen person in the head.
Officers ask anyone who can provide information about this young man or who has recognized him to immediately contact Jurgita Srėbaliene, Chief Investigator of the 2nd Operational Department of the Vilnius City Third Police Commissariat of the Vilnius District Police Department.
