in Vilnius district Two people were killed in a collision between a car and a tractor-trailer on Thursday, the Fire Protection and Rescue Department (PAGD) confirmed.
According to PAGD representative Edita Zdanevičienė, at 13.20:XNUMX p.m. traffic accidents were reported in the village of Kalveliai.
A car and a heavy vehicle collided during the traffic accident. When the firemen arrived, the tow truck was on fire, the passenger car was heavily damaged.
"According to the available preliminary data, two people died in the traffic accident - a man and a woman, a driver and a passenger - who were driving a car," said E. Zdanevičienė.
According to her, the tractor was carrying tires, and the fire that broke out after the accident was extinguished by a large number of fire brigades.
