A case of coronavirus has been confirmed in the "Taškius" kindergarten operating in the Lithuanian Children and Youth Center, the news portal 15min.lt reported.
Kindergarten students and teachers have been told not to come, and the National Society and Health Center (NVSC) is investigating possible contact persons, confirmed the director of the kindergarten, Lina Jankauskaitė.
"This morning, early in the morning, I received a call - one of our kindergarteners has been diagnosed with the coronavirus. We immediately took action, we asked the teachers to register, to do research, we informed all our parents - our kindergarten is closed since Monday", said L. Jankauskaitė.
15 children visited this group, they were looked after by two teachers, it is not yet clear whether some of the specialists were not on vacation.
According to the director, two weeks of isolation are currently reserved for employees and other persons who came in contact.
