On Sunday Vilnius University hospitals Santara clinics reported that the first lady Alma Adamkiene's health condition remains serious.
"The condition of Ms. Alma Adamkiene remains serious. There have been no significant changes in the last day," the clinic said in a statement.
ELTA reminds that A. Adamkiene, the wife of the outgoing president Valdas Adamkaus, needed medical help on Thursday - the portal Lrytas.lt announced that the first lady was brought to Vilnius Santaras clinics.
This news was confirmed to "Eltai" by the representative of V. Adamkaus, Bozena Bagonaitienė.
As VUL Santaras clinics later informed, A. Adamkiene was diagnosed with cerebral blood flow disorder after tests. Clinic doctors successfully performed a complex interventional procedure - they restored blood circulation.
