On Wednesday Vilnius University hospitals Santara clinics announced that the first lady Alma Adamkiene's health condition remains serious after a stroke. She is being treated in the intensive care unit for the sixth day.
ELTA reminds that the first lady A. Adamkiene needed medical help at the end of April. First, A. Adamkienė was brought to Vilnius Santaras clinics. After conducting the necessary tests, the first lady was diagnosed with cerebral circulation disorder. Later, it was clarified that the doctors of the clinics successfully performed the intervention procedure and restored blood circulation.
A. Adamkienė remained after the operation Santara clinics for further treatment and care. According to the hospital, almost a week after A. Adamkiene's admission to the hospital, her condition remains serious, but stable.
