In Vilnius on Wednesday, a Pakistani man reported that he presented a fake driver's license to the authorities police.
According to the data of the Chief Police Commissariat of Vilnius County, on December 6, around 22 p.m. 6 minutes later, the police crew stopped the Toyota Prius car for inspection on Gediminas Avenue in the capital. From the submitted temporary residence permit in the Republic of Lithuania, it became clear that the Toyota Prius was driven by a man (born in 1998).
According to the police, the Pakistani man who was driving the car also produced a driver's license, which made the officers suspicious. Vilnius airport the border guards, after thoroughly checking the submitted document, confirmed the officials' doubts - the certificate is fake - it has no protective measures and does not even meet the international driver's license standard.
A pre-trial investigation has been launched into document falsification or possession of a forged document. A Pakistani faces arrest or imprisonment for up to four years.
