September 28 President of the Republic of Lithuania Gitanas Nauseda and the first lady Diana Nausėdienė will receive the first couple of France, President Emmanuel Macron and his spouse Brigitte Macron, who are coming to Lithuania for an official visit.
During the visit, the leaders of Lithuania and France will discuss the EU, NATO, issues of the regional security agenda, bilateral cooperation in trade, economy, science and innovation and culture.
September 29 The head of France and the President of Lithuania will visit the French soldiers serving in the battalion of the forward forces of NATO. The French leader plans to participate in a solemn ceremony at the Antakalnis cemetery, to get to know the Lithuanian academic community.
On the occasion of this visit, a round-table discussion of Lithuanian and French business representatives is also being held to discuss cooperation opportunities in the fields of information and financial technologies, renewable energy, and cyber security.
French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife will visit Lithuania for the first time.
