In December, the Bank of Lithuania (LB) will issue commemorative coins of 100 and 20 euros dedicated to artificial intelligence.
At the end of October, the Board of LB decided to put the coins into circulation on December 10.
According to the Bank of Lithuania, it is planned to introduce two types - 100 euro gold and 20 euro silver collector coins.
It is claimed that the coins intended for artificial intelligence will meet the "Proof-like" quality - their plane will be mirror-like, and the surface of the relief will be semi-matte.
The Bank of Lithuania told BNS that it will provide more information about these commemorative coins in the near future, at the coin presentation planned for the beginning of December.
This year, the Bank of Lithuania also issued 20 euro commemorative coins dedicated to the 28th Olympic Games in Paris and the 100th anniversary of Lithuania's Olympic movement, as well as 20 euro coins dedicated to Lithuania's membership NATO and marked in the European Union, as well as other commemorative coins.
The Bank of Lithuania has already issued almost 200 commemorative and collector coins and 23 sets of them.
