Today, November 8, the Bank of Lithuania is issuing a 20-euro collectible silver coin dedicated to the 500th anniversary of Pranciškaus Skorina's "Russian Bible". The presentation of the coin will take place on the same day, at 11 a.m., at the Money Museum of the Bank of Lithuania (Totorių str. 2/8).
The coin presentation will be attended by Deivis Stankevičius, chairman of the Bank of Lithuania's coin design commission, coin artist Rolandas Rimkūnas, Vilnius city municipalities council member Darius Kuolys.
From November 8, a 20-euro silver coin dedicated to the 500th anniversary of Pranciškaus Skorina's "Russian Bible" will be available at the counters of the Bank of Lithuania (Žirmūnų st. 151 in Vilnius and Maironio st. 25 Beautiful). The coin was minted in an edition of 3. On the day of the coin release and the next day, the cash desks of the Bank of Lithuania will work longer - in Vilnius both days until 000 pm, and in Kaunas until 17 pm on November 8, and until 17 pm on November 9.
