JSC "Communication services" informs that today users of all operators can connect to the m.Ticket and m.Parking apps - their smooth operation has been updated.
"We have updated the operation of m.Ticket and m.Parking, now we only record isolated cases when the apps still work incompletely until the system is fully updated. And further, we check all systems and their security mechanisms to the maximum extent, apply additional measures to ensure the authentication and security of transmitted data even more effectively, and work closely with operators. We would like to emphasize that no personal data is currently available to third parties. Neither the mobile operators nor we have specific information that, in principle, cases of specific data submissions have been recorded", says Modesta Gusarovienė, director of "Susisiekimos paslaugos" SĮ.
After discovering a gap in the security of the HTTP HE technology, which is used to pay for goods and services through mobile operators, the company "Suisiekimos paslogos" immediately made changes to the m.Transportas system. The m.Ticket, m.Parking apps belong to this system. The most urgent changes were implemented yesterday, the transport system was updated, the necessary actions were performed and continue to be performed by the operators. After implementing all the changes, no personal data is currently available to third parties. The company will continue to implement additional actions to strengthen system security.
While checks were being carried out in the m.Ticket app, card payments were temporarily blocked from yesterday. It has been updated this morning and is working successfully for all users.
