During the auction held at Vilnius Burger Fest, the record for the most expensive burger was achieved. A burger prepared by chef Karolis Jakelavčias with a cut of venison, butter-fried boletus, aged Comté cheese, caramelized shallots and nasturtium leaves was sold for 200 euros.
Two more burgers were also prepared and handed out to lucky buyers at the auction of the sixth festival. One with Japanese seriola, nori leaf mayonnaise, salicornia and seaweed, and the other with pheasant breast, orange pickled fennel, figs and Italian guanciale.
