Already this Saturday, December 25, the new festival of lanterns and light installations "1000 lights" specially created for Lithuania will start working at the Lithuanian Folk Household Museum in Rumšiškės. He will invite you on a journey full of discoveries, which will be interesting and fun for all family members.
Comprised of more than 230 individual light sculptures, the luminous compositions are a route laid out in such a way that visitors are greeted by spectacular light sculptures at every turn. Fairy-tale animals, white bears, fish, an enchanting and magical avenue of luminous flowers, mystical trees of impressive size or descending cranes - these are only a small part of what awaits you at this festival. In addition, it will be possible to see light sculptures inspired by Lithuanian culture and history - sleeping "Kurėnas", Pinčiuk carrying a stone or weather vanes indicating the direction of a favorable wind.
"Christmas is a magical time, so we want to extend this period of fairy tales, miracles and inner warmth in people's hearts as long as possible.
