The favorite ideas of the people of Vilnius are coming to the fore, which will improve leisure, sports and recreation spaces near residents' homes in the next year or two. Ideas that have been in leadership positions for a long time give way to others. Until November 3 every voice of a Vilnius citizen at midnight acquires the value of gold, because only it depends on which "Participate!" Vilnius" ideas will be shared by 1 million euros.
"Each of us understands quality, comfortable, ideal Vilnius differently. Now is a great opportunity to decide for yourself what the city should look like and what public spaces need. The most active community members have already cast their vote, but Vilnius is about each and every one of us, so we should use the opportunity to decide for ourselves and create prosperity near our homes. Remind and encourage those who have not yet voted, because later they will be left to say - they didn't hear", Lina Koriznienė, the head of the development group of the Vilnius municipality organization, invites you to vote for the ideas of the living environment of your district and the city as a whole until Sunday.
It seems that over 30 small ideas will appear, be implemented or updated near the homes of the capital's residents next year. And according to the initial results of the voting, 3 big ideas of the population apply for the budget for big ideas. However, everything can still change, because the citizens of Vilnius have four more days to decide, and if the communities were to mobilize, it is likely that the image of implemented ideas, especially of the large category, would change drastically - in the initial voting stage, as many as five ideas applied for implementation.
According to L. Koriznienė, she confidently took the lead Pilaitte and the Beast started and stopped. One of the youngest and fastest-growing districts could easily swing the vote in the Big Ideas category. However, at the moment, residents remain very passive and only one other vote is given to the idea.
Žvērynas stands out this year even with two large-scale category ideas. It is one of the small districts in the city. However, the project "Participate!" Vilnius" is not about the size of the territory, but about the residents' activity and involvement in the creation of the city. The ardor of the Zvěrynas community, the involvement of surrounding businesses to call on the residents of the area is simply exemplary, and if it were not for the division of votes between two ideas, they could undoubtedly already talk about victory in their hands, but there are still four days left for cooperation.
Vilnius residents are currently voting for 123 small-scale ideas in their wards and 73 large-scale ideas in the city.

For the best ideas, yours support can be expressed on the platform "Participate!" Vilnius" until midnight on Sunday (November 3). You can vote once for one project of your district and one city.
Everything happens with just a few clicks. The resident only needs to choose the idea of the ward in which he lives and his favorites of the city, mark them, enter his name, surname, social security code, phone number in the voting window and press the "Vote" button. After receiving a short SMS message with a 5-digit code to the specified phone number, enter it in the opened box on the website and confirm your vote.
The personal code is needed so that the system can check the resident's declared place of residence with the registers. It is completely reliable and safe, because the personal code is converted into a set of numbers and letters and sent to the registers in real time in the form of a signal. In the positive case, a voice confirmation code arrives, in the negative case, the resident is asked to check the data.
After summing up the votes of the residents, the winning ideas will be announced on November 6.
"Participate!" Vilnius" for the implementation of ideas this year, it is planned to distribute about 1 million. euros. In 2022, over 300 thousand were distributed. euros, 2021 "Participate!" "Vilnius" ideas (during the pilot project in three wards) were allocated 64 thousand. euros. A total of 52 projects have already been implemented since the start of the project.
