The Cabinet of Ministers allocated over 26 thousand euros for the maintenance of Gediminas Hill in the capital.
On Wednesday, the Government decided to return more than 26 items to the National Museum of Lithuania. euros from the state reserve funds.
As indicated in the approved resolution, the appropriations are intended to eliminate the effects of the state-level emergency situation in the territory of the Vilnius Castle.
Vaidas Petrokas Eltai, Deputy General Director of the Lithuanian National Museum for Infrastructure, said that the received funds will be used for mountain maintenance, emergency management, monitoring services and other necessary works.
ELTA reminds that Lithuanian National Museum In May, he signed a contract with UAB "Rekreacinė statyba" regarding maintenance works on the southeastern part of Mount Gediminas.
V. Petrokas informed that the museum has already completed the public procurement procedures, which allow to start the final management works and to install long-term measures. Technical maintenance works will be carried out by UAB "Statybos projektų valdyny grupė", the project will be supervised by UAB "Hidroterra".
"Contract works will begin after the National Museum of Lithuania receives the necessary funding for the implementation of these works - this requires the decision of the Ministries of Culture and Finance. We are waiting for the funding needed for these works to be secured in the near future," V. Petrokas said in a comment to Elta.
