Kubiliaus str. 2), it was urgent to look for an operator - applications are invited until March 15 The municipality is establishing a unique employment space for older Vilnius residents to meet, be active, create, strengthen their health in order to remain active, involved and busy as long as possible. The winner of the tender will be announced in March, and he will have to start operations within 2 months. The winner will sign the contract for 10 years. In the public rental competition, only ideas will compete, not price.
In the senior hub, it will be possible to learn languages, computer and financial literacy, entrepreneurship, first aid, there will be plant breeding lectures, and a living library. In addition, Vilnius residents of decent age will be able to engage in handicrafts, artistic activities, visit cinema, theater, music, photography, book, cooking clubs, seniors will be able to participate in brainstorming, play board games, and socialize in the seniors' club cafe. The operator who won the competition will also be able to propose his ideas.
Applications will be evaluated according to the variety of employment, educational activities, health promotion and beauty classes, the opportunity for seniors to receive volunteering, mentoring, other additional services and it is also important - how many free services are planned to be provided. The applications will be evaluated by a specially formed commission, which will consist of representatives of NGOs and the municipality.
