Saturday from 11 a.m. citizens of Vilnius are invited to plant bushes in the newly equipped public spaces in Grigiškės and Pavilny (New Vilnius ward). Helpers will gather in Grigiškės near St. Churches of the Spirit, in Pavilny - on Juodamaje kele 34.
"We are preparing responsibly for the taluk. Gymnasiums, kindergartens, an active parish community, large companies operating in Grigiškės will contribute. We invite all Grigiški residents not to sit at home on Saturday, but to come to the taluk", - urged Grigiški elder Donata Lukašenkovienė.
The citizens of Grigis meet on September 21. 11 o'clock near St. Churches of the Spirit (Kovo 11-osios g. 36). More than a thousand bushes will be planted in the newly installed public space.
At the same time, the clean-up will also take place in the other end of Vilnius - the part of the New Vilnius borough, called Pavilni. In the newly installed public space (Juodasis kelias 34, near "Lidl" shopping center) with the residents, about 1300 bushes will be planted.
Next year, Vilnius will be named the green capital of Europe - this is not only an important achievement, but also a commitment to continue working together to create an even greener Vilnius. Therefore, planting taluks are organized even in several places.
The big planting taluka will take place on September 28. 11 o'clock Justiniškės, Şypsenų aleja. The meeting place is near Taika st. 10.
Over 6000 bushes will be planted in all the taluks.
We also invite school groups to participate in the taluks, it is a great opportunity for students to fill up their summary of social-civic hours.
