The municipality approved: the Pilaitė polyclinic will expand

The Vilnius municipality informs that the Pilaitė health care center is being reconstructed, that is, a new extension is planned. This month Vilnius city municipality approved this project.

"The width of the projected building is 13 m, the length is 36,6 m. A four-storey extension is planned, the connection of which is adapted to the existing building - 2 floors, and the higher part reflects the existing construction and shape. It is planned to use the main entrance of the existing building from the southeast part of the building. The general internal structure of the building is designed by separating traffic flows - spacious and bright waiting areas are designed near the staircases and elevators. Cabinets and other rooms are arranged in a typical manner on each floor, maintaining the existing structure and flexibility of the plan. An extension is being designed in the form of solid connected rectangles, 16m high: one part is irregular, 2 floors, connected to the existing building; the other - four floors, regular, corresponding to the composition of the building", - the project proposals say about the future building of the polyclinic's annex.

After the reconstruction, the area of ​​the polyclinic will increase more than four times to 2635,74 square meters² area. 53 consultation offices will be additionally equipped. Children's playgrounds would also be installed in the area. In the basement of the extension, it is also planned to install 215 m² area cover.

• The number of parking spaces - 165 units. (surface parking, including 94 units in the nearby parking lot);
• Number of bicycle storage places - 7 units. (surface parking);
