On Friday, the Minister of Internal Affairs, Rita Tamašunienė, inspected the premises of the Migration Department in Vytenio st., which are currently being completed. 18, in Vilnius, to which clients of the capital will soon move to Naugarduko st. 100 serving employees of the department.
At the moment, the final installation works of the customer service hall are taking place here. It is planned that the new modern premises will open its doors in October.
"The new premises are being created in order to provide the most favorable conditions for customers and better working conditions for employees of the Migration Department. Reception of customers will take place on one floor, the premises will be adapted for persons with disabilities and elderly people who find it difficult to walk. Families have also been thought of - a separate space for games will be created for children. Our goal is to meet the expectations of the customers of the Migration Department", says Minister of the Interior Rita Tamašunienė.
The Vilnius branch, located at a new address, will welcome customers with more spacious premises suitable for various age groups and people with special needs, new, much more modern and customer-friendly personal biometric data collection equipment.
The biometric data collection devices installed in the Vilnius branch will facilitate customer service procedures, as well as conditions, and will undoubtedly improve customer service. Providing clients with the highest level of services is one of the most important goals of the Migration Department.
The Vilnius branch will invite customers to the new premises in the middle of autumn, so it is likely that customers who submitted requests for new documents on Naugardukos street will already go to Vytenios street to pick them up.
