Today, after a break of more than seven years, the district council opened its doors in Žvēryne (Sēlių street 39). The active community of Žvēryna and guests gathered at the establishment. On the occasion of the opening, the mayor of Vilnius congratulated those gathered Remigius Šimašius.

After the red ribbon was cut, the new premises were curiously inspected by everyone who came to the opening, and the new exhibition of the artist Salomeja Rybokienė "Walks around the Zoo" can be seen in the old town. The artist Kazys Kęstutis Šiaulytis captured the reflections of the good mood of the guests in cartoons, and the people of Vilnius could feast on a festive cake.
The exhibition "Walks around the Zoo" will be open in the precinct's premises until the beginning of December.
Elder Saulė Kazlauskienė was happy that after a break of more than 7 years, the community has a place in her district again. Until now, the Žvėrynas precinct did not have its own premises, for some time it was housed in the premises of the Naujamiestis precinct, then for the last four years it was located In the old town, on Odminiių Street.
According to community representatives, it is expected that this building will become a home for all residents of the district, where they will always be welcomed and heard, where ideas will be generated and implemented, relevant issues will be resolved, and various events will be organized. events and meetings.
