In Vingo Park Two installations were built, spreading different messages.
A large bee has landed in the meadow near the stage – created by Jolita Vaitkutė from urban waste – old benches, metal structures, car tires and plastic. All used materials will return to the circular economy cycle and be recycled, thus ensuring the implementation of sustainability principles.
The installation was created on the occasion of "Vilnius - European Green Capital 2025". Vilnius is a city where bees want to land. Today, the green capital unfolds like the most attractive flower, luring bees with its nectar. Bees are an essential part of the natural ecosystem, and their life in the city testifies to the city's greenery and harmonious connection with nature.
The second installation is located at the intersection of the “Žalčio sonata” and “Tiesos” paths in Vingis Park. This is a social initiative that encourages people to get vaccinated against tick-borne encephalitis. The installation draws attention to the fact that ticks lurk in the depths of the forest, meadows, and even in the green areas of the city. The warning reminds us that even while enjoying pleasant moments in nature, we must remain vigilant and remember to get vaccinated against tick-borne encephalitis.
