The huge, complex and innovative surface wastewater management project in Šeškinė is successfully moving forward despite the inevitable disruptions in construction, overcoming the issues of material supply and increased logistics costs.
Reconstructing rainwater networks in Šeškinė between Migla and Siesikė streets. already installed cleaning inevents and the works of forming the storage pond embankment have started. The purified rainwater will be stored, and the surplus generated during the rains will be gradually discharged to Narbuto st. collector.
The new surface wastewater treatment plant will be able to clean rainwater from 648 ha of hard surface area from Šeškina, Fabijoniškii, Pašilaičių. The efficiency of the cleaning devices will reach up to 3000 l/s, in the future the flow of surface sewage will also flow here from the projected Šiaurinė street.
All cleaning activities will be hidden underground, and the entire plot will be adapted for recreation.
The project is planned to be implemented by the end of this year.
