The Vilnius branch of the Department of Migration opened the doors of new premises for customers - from October 28. migration services in the capital are provided at a new address - Vytenio st. 18. As promised, the first clients were served right after noon - both new and regular clients of the Migration Department were surprised by the modern and pleasant environment.
"I am glad that the Vilnius branch of the Migration Department is moving to new premises. I wish that only satisfied customers always come here, so that there are no disturbances. I know that the Migration Department works a lot and often in difficult conditions, so it is very important for us, the managers, to ensure good working conditions for you and we work for that. A long way has come since the reform and I am glad that the Migration Department is becoming a modern organization that meets expectations", said Minister of the Interior Rita Tamašunienė.
The Minister of Internal Affairs, Rita Tamašunienė, who attended the celebration of the opening of the new premises of the Vilnius branch, was happy that it was possible to improve the working conditions for employees and create more favorable service conditions for customers. The Minister thanked the staff for their ability to adapt to work in difficult quarantine conditions and, wishing success in the new phase, together with Deputy Minister Tautvydus Tamulevičius, presented a miniature tree to Artūras Gromov, the head of the Vilnius department, promising stability, harmony and vitality to the new home.
Director of the Migration Department Evelina Gudzinskaitė, who met the first customers together with the employees of the Vilnius department, was happy with the smooth first day, comfortably equipped workplaces, safe customer service space and thanked her colleagues who put a lot of effort into this and their owners who helped to set up the premises. He also gave special words of thanks to Minister R. Tamašuniene and Deputy Minister T. Tamulevičiis, who paid a lot of attention to improving the quality of the employees' work, delved into the needs of the Migration Department and helped implement the team's ideas.
"Thank you for being together all the time, for supporting us in doing what seemed important to all of us," said E. Gudzinskaitė. - This department is designed in such a way that the department can operate in accordance with its main principles - to be attentive to customers, to work with quality, to use the latest technological solutions, to rely on teamwork."
The new premises of the Vilnius branch of the Migration Department have already been called exemplary. They are distinguished by their space, a comfortable customer service hall for people of various social groups - children, the elderly, disabled people, an abundance of reception desks, new equipment for registering personal biometric data and a queue management system, with buttons that allow measuring the quality of customer service.
The Migration Department reminds: the new address of the Vilnius branch is Vytenio st. 18, during the quarantine, only customers who comply with security requirements and reception procedures are served.
