Vilnius city municipality already this autumn, they will start the management of public spaces near the reconstructed Aukštaičiai, Paupios and Drujas streets.
During the implementation of the project, rainwater drains, street lighting, drainage, sidewalks, Market Square, small architecture, and landscaped gardens will be installed. The project will contribute to the increase of population concentration in the territory, which encourages the creation and development of business, the conditions for business creation will improve, the quality of the living environment will increase, and the employment of residents will increase.
The project is financed according to the measure 2014-CPVA-R-2020 "Complex development of large cities" of priority 7 "Promoting quality employment and participation in the labor market" of the 07.1.1-904 European Union funds investment action program.
According to the financing allocated to the Project by the Ministry of the Interior, the funds of the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) amount to EUR 1, the state budget funds of the Republic of Lithuania are EUR 718, and the share of the municipal budget funds is EUR 533,55, the total value of the Project is EUR 151 635,32 EUR.
The planned start of contract work is in 2017. October month.
