We have written about unmowed Vilnius meadows and courtyards of apartment buildings more than once. The indignation of Vilnius residents over the decision of the city authorities not to mow the city's meadows in Vilnius continues. Recently, the artists created a short film, which could become the visiting card of the city this summer, inviting you to rediscover Vilnius.
In the short video, we see a man walking through an unmowed meadow that looks like a jungle. The viewer may get the impression that because of the high meadows, a person simply cannot see where to go next. However, at the end of the video, the hero finds a way out and, emerging from the high meadow, sees the Cathedral Square.
The authors of the video inserted a short slogan "Rediscover Vilnius" at the end of the video, at the same time drawing attention to how the landscape of the city changed dramatically after the municipality decided not to mow the meadows.
