After meeting on Wednesday Vilnius city municipalities the council began considering a possible increase in the local fee for the collection and management of municipal and other household waste.

For business representatives, depending on the purpose of the real estate object, this service would cost an average of 5-20 euros per year. If the city council approves the decision, the new prices will take effect from the beginning of next year.
"We must change the municipal waste collection and management regulations, because we are obliged by national legislation.
