On Friday, the mayor of Vilnius Remigius Šimašius shared a video on his Facebook account in which he presents the new park, which is currently being completed and soon Vilnius residents will be invited to its opening.
"A place unknown to almost no one in the very center of Vilnius could have simply become an engineering structure for collecting rain from northern Vilnius, but it has become a park, a lake, a meeting place and a playground. No name yet, but we're considering giving it the romantic name Rain Park - unless you come up with a better one. The place is from Migla Street in Žvēryne going up towards Šeškinė", writes the mayor.
