Vilnius city municipality announced a tender to repair the city's fountains. It is tentatively planned to repair such fountains as Washington Square, V. Kudirka Square (at the intersection of Gedimino Ave. and Vilniaus St.) and one or more fountains during the contract period.
As announced in the Central Public Procurement Portal (CPP), the works are planned to be carried out within 12 months from the conclusion of the contract, within the maximum amount of funds allocated for the purchase - 144.9 thousand. EUR without VAT.
During the repair of the fountains, it is planned to carry out the dismantling of the damaged granite finish of the fountains, deteriorated concrete slabs at the bottom of the pools, worn circulation pipelines, worn electrical installation, deteriorated concrete structures, the existing water circulation system of the fountains and underground pumping stations.
After the completion of the dismantling work, it is planned to install new fountain bottoms, fountain basin curbs made of granite massif, new circulation piping, electrical installation, underwater colored lighting, water mechanical cleaning, water automatic disinfection systems, and moisture removal equipment.
Proposals or requests to repair the fountains of the city of Vilnius are expected until June 18.
