In October, the Vingriau spring square was opened nearby MO Museum received a lot of attention from the population. The mayor of Vilnius shared his joy about the newly opened square on his social networks R. Šimašius. The most vigilant noticed the ugly graffiti in the photos uploaded by the mayor, spoiling the new town area.
Residents did not like the photos uploaded by the mayor. The graffiti painted on the apartment building next door spoils the whole picture. Residents wonder why the graffiti wasn't cleaned up before the square opened. The municipality shrugs its shoulders: they cannot do anything, the building does not belong to them.
,,Their [graffiti - aut. post.] removal is taken care of by building owners and administrators. If [building - aut. past.] not municipalities - then we cannot do anything with private property", comments the municipality.
Kol Vingriau st. The administrators of building 6 will not clean the drawings themselves, until then they will spoil the image of the renovated square.
Vingria Square, located next to MO Museum, was opened on October 18. It is located in the neighborhood of Vingriau Square MO Museum dedicated seven contemporary art sculptures to the public space. They form a unified continuation of the outdoor exposition of the MO Museum.
