On Friday, Vilnius residents turned their heads as they drove past the building on Drujas Street. They were surprised by a large drawing that suddenly appeared on the wall of the building. In the drawing, which covers more than 35 square meters, there is a small, traveling boy stopping cars. Only instead of the boards with the destination usually kept by trans people, there is the inscription "parents".
This huge drawing is a gift to the city from the creators of the film "Here was Sasha", which will soon be released in cinemas.
According to Gabija Siurbytė, the producer of the film, the whole creative group wanted to do something beautiful and non-advertising for a long time. "We didn't make the film for money, but for an idea.

Of course, we wanted to tell a compelling, fun and sensitive story, but more than that, we wanted to make a difference in people's minds. Thus, with this graffiti drawing, we aim to draw the public's attention to children waiting for their parents. So that this topic is more and more talked about and discussed. It can be said that with this drawing we are not promoting a film about adoption, but children waiting for their parents", said G. Siurbytė, who also played the role of the main actress in the film.
While the artists were finishing the opposite, the boy from the drawing also visited him. This is the young star of the film - twelve-year-old Mark Eymont. He not only posed, but also got a brush in his hands, so he could contribute to the drawing.
The filmmakers not only donated this drawing to the city, but decided to contribute to improving the lives and conditions of adoptive parents. One euro earned from each ticket to the movie "Čia vivo Saša" will be donated to the Association of Lithuanian foster parents and adopters. Or as the message on the movie posters says - "for superheroes".

The feature film, which won awards at foreign festivals and received positive reviews from critics, will be shown in Lithuanian cinemas from August 16. The main roles in the film were played by Valentinas Novopolskis, Gabija Siurbytė and Markas Eimontas.
The film "Here Was Sasha" deals with a complex topic, but at the same time it is a sincere and funny film. It tells the story of the fact that 30-year-old Jurga and Tomas cannot have children, so they decide to adopt a little girl.
But the couple who came to the foster home to pick her up are informed that there was a mistake - 12-year-old Saša is impatiently waiting instead of the future foster. The director persuades potential adopters to spend the day with the boy. When Jurga succumbs to her pressure, life-changing events begin for the trio. At the end of a busy day, everyone will have to answer the question - what is a real family?
