Vilnius residents are understandably worried about the safety of small road users and the traffic capacity of the street, where there are even 3 educational institutions. However:
- September 1 Miglos str. no work will be carried out to ensure maximum traffic capacity during the Science and Knowledge Festival.
- in order to ensure sufficient Miglos st. bandwidth during the academic year, from September 1. during peak hours (7:30-9:30 and 16:30-18:30) the traffic will be regulated by UAB "Instita" traffic controllers,
- safe pedestrian traffic will be ensured on the right side of the street (from Paribis St. towards Miglas St. 1A building). The temporary footpath is fenced off for safety.
After the works are completed, near Migla st. 1A will be an open recreational space with children's playgrounds, an amphitheater, an observation deck, and a pedestrian path.
