Vilnius district The municipality is taking an important step in strengthening its connection with residents and promoting the local economy – introducing the new resident card “Artì” and the mobile app “Vilnius region".
According to Robert Duchnevič, Mayor of Vilnius District Municipality, this project was created to bring the municipality even closer to each of the district's nearly 120 residents, provide them with exceptional benefits, and provide local businesses with new opportunities for growth.
"Both the resident card and the mobile application are more than a discount system - it is our desire to be closer to every resident, to become partners who hear and respond. By combining modern technologies with the idea of community, we provide a convenient tool to obtain information, use services, and actively participate in the life of the district," says R. Duchnevič.
The name of the card "Artì" was not chosen by chance - it reflects the main ideas of the project. Closeness represents the municipality's aspiration to be an open partner, ready to hear, understand and respond. Connection symbolizes easy and fast information transfer - the most important news, decisions and offers will reach every resident via their mobile phone. Technologies – the digital card and app allow you to use all the benefits conveniently and in a modern way. Finally, uniqueness: The coordinates indicated on the card (54°54'23.7″N 25°19'8.7″E) symbolically mark the geographical center of Europe and remind us of the unique location of the Vilnius district on the map.
Residents can choose one of two card formats. Technology enthusiasts can now download the free mobile app "Vilnius District" from "Google Play" or "Apple App Store". In the app, they will find not only a digital card, but also a personal information center - news, a convenient event calendar, resident surveys and other functions. Even more innovations are planned in the future - it is planned to implement a problem map function, allowing you to quickly report noticed problems.
For those who value traditional solutions, a physical card is offered. It can be obtained by visiting the Vilnius District Municipality Administration, Eldership or by submitting a request by e-mail. [email protected]The card will be prepared and issued in less than 20 business days.
Using the card is simple – to get a discount or take advantage of a special offer, it is enough to show the physical card or the QR code generated in the app. More than 20 businesses have already joined the program, and their list is constantly being updated. Residents are offered discounts on legal and consulting services, home maintenance and construction work – from engineering networks to irrigation systems. Also – on recreation and wellness, food products and tickets to cultural institutions.
The Artì program creates value not only for residents, but also for local businesses. By becoming partners, entrepreneurs reach a large and engaged audience, strengthen their visibility in the municipality's communication channels, and contribute to the well-being of the community. Participation in the program costs nothing for businesses - all they need to do is fill out the registration form and submit their proposal.
Vilnius District Municipality invites all residents to become part of the "Artì" community and actively use the benefits of the card, and businesses to join the partner network. This is a common step towards creating a more open, modern and even closer Vilnius district.
