The first book house in Lentvary sprouted exactly three years ago, it was built by the creative youth of the "Čiotkai" project. Nurturing the youth initiative and assessing its relevance, two new book houses located in different parts of Lentvaris opened their doors to readers yesterday. The renovated book house, built in 2020, was located next to the Lentvaris Palace of Culture, and the second one found its place in the Bažnyčias street alley.
It is true that the new houses sprouted on the eve of a very important day - August 12. we will celebrate International Youth Day. For this reason, we encourage the community, especially young people, to exchange their phone for a book more and more often and immerse themselves in the enchanting depths of stories and stories.
The book houses were installed as part of the "Book Oasis" youth project. The project is implemented by the Lentvaris Chamber of Culture, the project is financed by the funds of the Trakai District Municipality.
