National Stadium with construction mired in financial, reputational and legal pitfalls, another stadium is springing up near the capital. A building awaiting one and a half thousand football fans is being built in the village of Galinė, approximately 20 minutes from Vilnius. The new "Transinvest" football club, founded just two years ago, is planning to play its home matches there, currently playing at Širvintos Stadium.
Football cube "Transinvest" does not play in the country's top "A League", but this did not prevent the team from winning the prestigious LFF Cup. The team residing in the village of Galinė are the current champions of the First Lithuanian Football League.
According to the data of the portal Lrytas.lt, the building plan includes two parking spaces for buses, 67 parking spaces for visitors and employees, and 80 parking spaces for spectators.
On the second floor of the complex, it is planned to equip fitness equipment, table tennis, warm-up, and exercise rooms. The stadium will be located on Galinė st. 5. The address of the project developers and founders of the football club "Transinvest", the logistics company "Transekspedicija Invest" - Galinės st. 1.
