The XNUMXst stage capital repair works of Erudit Lyceum premises in Vilnius have been completed in the old town, carried out by the Sustainable Urban Development and Construction Company "YIT Lithuania". The state-owned company Energy Distribution Operator (ESO) previously used 7 sq. m premises on Aguonų Street have been adapted to the needs of the school community and from September 1. will open its doors to students.
During the capital repair works, the roof covering of the building was changed and its structures were strengthened, the facade type was changed from ventilated to plastered. Also, all the windows of the building were replaced, new engineering systems and interior were installed. By applying advanced solutions, the energy efficiency class of the building was raised from C to A. In addition, the old 30 sq.m. m. area swimming pool, which is adapted to the needs of the school.
During the conversion of the building, specialized classrooms, multifunctional spaces for joint work and interactive activities, a modern science and technology laboratory, a gym, a canteen and other facilities needed by the school community were installed. A spacious courtyard has also been adapted to the needs of the school.

As a result, the architectural solutions chosen for the new building are modern, exclusive and perfectly reflect the innovative educational philosophy of the lyceum and develop the students' aesthetic taste", says the founder and head of the Erudito Lyceum, Assoc. Dr. Nerijus Pacėsa.
The founders of the school pay a lot of attention not only to learning methods and ensuring the quality of education, but also to advanced technical solutions: from smart boards and tablets to interactive floors and 3D printers. This will also be reflected in the new school premises.
The well-known Italian chef Gian Luca Demarco will take care of the meals for the Erudito Lyceum students from September. In order to change the attitude towards children's feeding: healthy, varied food will lay the foundations for a complete diet, develop the taste of young people, and introduce them to the culture of food and eating.

According to K. Vanag, during the 9st stage of the reconstruction, a number of difficult tasks had to be implemented - for example, in a closed building, demolishing the existing overlay in the school's gymnasium and casting a new one without tearing down the roof. All works were completed in just XNUMX months. Currently, the design proposals of the II stage of the project and the possibilities of their implementation are being examined.
Architect Gintautas Natkevičius and his team took care of the architectural solutions of the project. The premises designed by him reflect the values of Erudit Lyceum and the modern principles of organizing the educational process. During the implementation of the conversion project, great attention was paid to solutions enabling cooperation, teamwork and interdisciplinarity.
Wealth management specialists and project managers at Orion Wealth took care of project financing, structure and implementation issues. Project manager Karolis Ražukas claims that, despite tight deadlines and challenges during construction, the project was properly managed and the desired result was achieved together with the partners.

From the beginning of the academic year, about 500 students of Erudit Lyceum will study in the newly equipped premises. Later, this number should grow to almost a thousand. Until now, Erudit Lyceum was located in two buildings and premises in Vilnius Beautiful.
The company "YIT Lietuva" in Vilnius is also reconstructing the "Vilnius House of Polish Culture", as well as building a business center SKY OFFICE in Viršuliškės, as well as an administrative building on Sporto Street in Vilnius.
