About 6808 first-graders have already registered in the capital's schools, additional first grades are being established in 15 schools - this fall, about 400 more children will start attending first grades than last year.
In order to provide opportunities for the youngest students to learn as close as possible to home, the municipality establishes additional first classes in schools. If by June 25 (inclusive), parents have not yet received an invitation from any school, from June 26 should supplement their application in the electronic school registration system, choosing those schools with available places or those with additional first grade classes. It is recommended to do this by July 10.
Information about free study places is published on the websites of schools and municipalities from June 26.
On July 18-25, parents will receive information to which school their child is accepted, and once they have decided, they will have to confirm their choice.
From July 26, parents will still be able to adjust their requests according to which schools have vacancies.
Learning contracts will be signed by August 31, after receiving confirmation of admission and submitting all necessary documents to the school. Contracts with schools can be signed earlier.
Parents or guardians of children can participate in the meetings of the admissions commission as observers, having informed the chairman of the admissions commission three working days in advance of their participation. At the end of the meeting, observers are given the right to submit comments.
Total e-mails to schools. 13 students - those who are changing schools, transferring from pro-gymnasium to gymnasiums, or those who have come to live in the capital and first-year students - have registered in this way. 285 of them have already received invitations and signed contracts with educational institutions.
