Vilnius University (VU) joins the national adult learning platform "Kursuok" for the second year in a row, which gives thousands of Lithuanian residents the opportunity to discover attractive development programs. This year, out of all higher education institutions, VU offered the largest number of study programs on the platform and received the largest number of participants. They were attended by more than 760 participants, who evaluated the training programs as high-quality training modules.
According to Vita Remenytė, head of the Center for Lifelong Learning at VU Business School, such interest in training programs clearly shows the growing need for lifelong learning.
"Continuous learning has become an integral part of our daily life. In order to remain competitive, we are increasingly looking for opportunities to acquire new knowledge or improve existing competences. We are glad that Vilnius University training programs are particularly popular," she says.
The training programs of Vilnius University are attractive with their diversity and ability to meet the needs of the modern labor market. They are connected by theory and practice - anyone looking for new knowledge or seeking to improve existing competences will find in them something that is not only relevant, but also inspires action.
According to V. Remenytė, VU programs are distinguished by the professionalism of the teachers and their ability to convey the content of the program in detail, comprehensibly and attractively.
"We can see from the feedback that the participants most value our teachers' ability to convey complex concepts clearly, using real examples that help to better understand and apply theoretical knowledge in practice," says V. Remenytė.
Among the most popular training programs offered by Vilnius University this year was "Project Management", where students gain knowledge on how to effectively plan, organize and execute projects. Also a very popular program is "Communication and conflict management", which helps improve communication skills and resolve conflict situations both at work and in personal life.
The program "Creativity, public speaking and negotiations in business" also attracted great interest. In it, participants not only learn to generate new ideas and apply models of the creative process, but also develop the ability to clearly and convincingly present their thoughts to colleagues or partners. In addition, the program provides valuable negotiation skills that are useful both in professional activities and in everyday life.
The new season of the adult learning platform Kursuok will open from 2025. January 2 In it, VU will offer twice as much as last year, ie 30 different training programs that meet the needs of personal and professional growth.
The Kursuok platform is a modern and easily accessible tool that offers short, intensive and most relevant training programs and provides financing to their participants up to 500 euros.
