Vilnius and the Vilnius development company invite architects to submit projects for a new educational institution - a gymnasium in Verkiau, M. Marcinkevičius str. 72. The location of the planned gymnasium is unique in its natural environment. Architects are invited to use their project ideas to reveal the significance of the uniqueness of the site and to create an architectural idea for the school building adapted to the development of personalities.
The design price of the gymnasium cannot exceed 807 thousand. euros, while the preliminary construction price will reach 20,26 million. euros. It is planned to install a sports field and outdoor classrooms in the project. The school grounds must be attractive for the daily use of the local community.
During the architectural competition, designers will be invited to create a high-quality gymnasium that responds to modern trends and rational solutions. It is planned that about 480 students will be able to study in the gymnasium, and it will consist of 16 classes. The newly created territory of the gymnasium will have to be integrated into the existing network of pedestrian paths, connected to the surrounding residential and recreational areas.
The tender is conducted in accordance with the Law on Public Procurement and the provisions of its implementing legislation. The project will be evaluated according to four criteria: urban planning (25%), architectural (25%), compliance with the customer's needs (30%) and the cost of implementing the project idea (20%).
Members of the evaluation committee of the planned competition, professionals in their field - architects, urban planners, landscape specialists. It is planned to include an architect from abroad in the composition of the evaluation committee.
Prizes will be awarded to the participants who submitted the best three projects of this competition. 15 thousand will be awarded to the winner of the first place. euros, the second - 10 thousand. euros, and the third - 5 thousand. euros. The deadline for submission of proposals is 2023. July 21
