Until March 1 Mykolas Romeris University provides an additional opportunity for graduates of general education schools to register in already organized groups and become participants in the social educational initiative "4mm.Pasitiebk".
"4 mm. "Pistiebk" is a social educational initiative that provides a second chance to graduates of general education schools who want to retake state exams with better scores and enter higher education. This assistance is free of charge and is initiated by Mykolas Romeris University. The best specialists in their field have been selected - teachers who provide tutoring services in Lithuanian, mathematics, English, and history, helping to fill existing knowledge gaps and prepare for state matriculation exams. All classes with teachers take place at a convenient evening time, remotely, on the Zoom platform, the duration of one subject class is 1,5 hours.
The initiative "4mm. Positiebk" has been successfully operating since 2018. This project involves people from all over Lithuania who, together with competent teachers, prepared and passed the state matriculation exams with higher scores and entered the studies of their dreams. During the three years of the project's existence, almost a thousand people benefited from the free help.
2020 "4mm. Monika Maciulevičiūtė, a participant of the Positiebk" project, recommends everyone she knows to participate in this educational project: "I suggest you try it, if you haven't been successful before, during state exams, because it's a great way to improve your academic results. You can also understand what you want, mature in a way and prepare for future studies." According to Monika, at the same time, more courage emerges not to be distracted and to realize that the choice is right. "Of course, a lot of work needs to be put in, because this is one of the most important things. So my stubbornness really gives me a lot of motivation and strength to study. I hope I will achieve my goal, and I will see how it goes later. I think the result will definitely not disappoint."
Dean of the Faculty of Human and Society Studies of Mykolas Romeris University, prof. Dr. Odeta Merfeldaitė is happy that even during the pandemic, we have the opportunity to provide qualified assistance to graduates of general education schools, helping them prepare and pass the state matriculation exams with better scores, which motivates them not to give up and pursue their dream studies.
Those who wish to participate in the project are invited to register and fill out the candidate form by March 1. More information can be found on the website of the project - 4milimetrai.wixsite.com.
