As the quarantine conditions ease, the Lithuanian Children and Youth Center resumes its activities indoors starting this week. Gradually, children of preschool and school age, adults will be able to return to the center and participate in activities.
Director Valdas Jankauskas says that the center's priority is not so much comfort as ensuring safety, so it is not appropriate to expect that activities will be organized as usual.
All necessary measures will be taken to ensure safety for the organization of activities in the premises.
Every day, the temperature of employees and visitors will be measured, protective masks will be worn, surfaces will be disinfected, and the number of participants in offices, halls, swimming pools and corridors will be limited. If possible, more activities will be organized outside.
To further increase security, it was decided to divide the center's premises into four spaces specific to certain groups of activities. After arriving and receiving, for example, a yellow band on your arm, you will be able to proceed to your activities only along the route marked with the same color. It will not be possible to move freely around the premises of the center, as well as enter and leave them. In such a playful way, it is expected to reduce and separate the flow of visitors, to maintain the necessary distance.
Indoor activities will be gradually resumed. May 19 it is planned to start the activities taking place in the offices and halls, and on May 22 – in newly opened pools.
