The Cabinet of Ministers also approved the merger of the Kaunas College of Forestry and Environmental Engineering with the Kaunas Technical College. After the merger, the college would change its name and become the Lithuanian Engineering College.
As indicated in the draft of the Government's resolution, after Marijampolė college is connected to MRU, a university branch will be established in this city.
At that time, after the Lithuanian Maritime School was connected to "Vilnius TECH" Klaipėda the Lithuanian Maritime Academy will be established.
