Prime Minister Saulius Skvernelis, with Mother's Day approaching, says that it is possible to visit the cemetery if the security requirements are met, but urges to follow the recommendation and not go to greet mothers on the weekend.
"Graves are one situation - subject to certain security conditions so that there is no mass influx, yes. And everyone will choose to go to their mothers, but there is a recommendation from doctors and epidemiologists not to visit, so this recommendation must be followed", - to journalists The Seimas said the head of the government.
According to him, there are no plans to introduce additional restrictions on movement during the weekend, as during Easter.
"There will be no drastic restrictions, that's all police, as well as other structures that must monitor compliance with quarantine conditions, they will, of course, have to work more actively, but the recommendations remain the same", said S. Skvernelis.
"If there is an opportunity not to travel, then don't travel and, most importantly, if there is an opportunity not to communicate with your relatives who are in risk groups, then don't do it," he added.
Due to the threat of coronavirus in Lithuania, it was announced on March 16 quarantine, it is valid until May 11.
During the quarantine, it is recommended to stay at home, leave it only in necessary cases, and also not to visit older relatives, for whom the coronavirus is the most dangerous.
