Visit "Ula's Eye" in Dzūkija National Park
The wonderful and famous for the most beautiful landscapes, the Łola river has a special place - a spring gushing out in a hollow, called the "Eye of Łola". At its bottom, the sand raised by the strong water flow is constantly bubbling, and if you try to measure the depth of this spring with a stick, you will probably not be able to reach the bottom. This special source is surrounded by the wonderful nature of the Dzūkija National Park, so be sure to visit the nearby educational trails, explore the cliffs of Mančiagirė, the ethnographic village of Zervyný, just 6 kilometers from the "Eye of Łola". 14 kilometers from the source is the village of Marcinkonių, where you can visit the Marcinkonių Ethnographic Homestead - museum or take a walk along the educational trail of the Čepkelės nature reserve.

You can cycle up to 100 kilometers in this regional park! The most popular option is a day hike in the exclusive 45-kilometer Gražute big bicycle ring. Along this route, you will see the unique nature of this park - Šventos, Luodis lakes, an impressive artificial water body with more than 50 islands - Antalieptė lagoon. You will also visit the country's highest stone church in Salak, Kiemionii mound, Kunigokalnis, 3 barrows, the Tilliškii water mill, the old Jewish and Tatar cemeteries, and the natural monument - the Salak pine tree.
You can go by car to Salak and (start cycling from Gražutė Regional Park Visitor Center) or take the train to Dūkštos station and start the cycling trip from the railway of the station.

Day excursion to Paluše
The village of Palūšės, located in the Ignalina district, will surprise you both with its wonderful nature and cultural objects. There is a unique wooden Palūšė St. Joseph's Church, which was built in 1757. and is the second oldest wooden church in Lithuania. Stroll through this beautiful autumnal village, walk to Lūšii Lake, and right next to it there is a 3,5 km botanical (nature) trail that can be completed on foot or by bike. As you walk along the path, you will also see several smaller lakes hidden among the forests, many plant species, 9 of which are listed in the Lithuanian Red Book! And, of course, the wonderful autumn forest will delight you with its colors!
