The Directorate of Pavilniai and Verkii Regional Parks announces that the prepared tourist route "From the Palace of Crying to Myro Castle" is waiting for travelers. While traveling on this route, you will visit not only cultural, but also natural heritage sites. You will get to know the history of the Wittgenstein family, which once owned the Weeping Manor Palace and Myro Castle.
Due to the complicated political situation, it would be difficult to travel at the moment, but once the unrest passes, the route will certainly not go anywhere. We share the route brochures with you PDF version, which you can download. And if you prefer the paper version, you can pick it up free of charge at the Pavilnii and Verkių Regional Parks Visitor Center (Žaliijų Ežerų St. 53, Vilnius).
The brochure was published in order to develop tourism in the border region in accordance with the 2014-2020 project of the European Neighborhood Instrument Latvia, Lithuania and Belarus cross-border cooperation program "Cultural heritage preservation and adaptation for cultural, educational and tourism purposes" No. ENI-LLB-2-257.
