According to local tourism research, in recent years the thirst for privacy and undisturbed recreation has invited residents to turn back to nature. To places where you can blend in with the slow flow of life and enjoy the much-sought-after tranquility in private accommodations. Glamping or otherwise - Forest hotels, both in Lithuania and around the world, have already managed to win the hearts of travelers. And today, adapting to people's needs, they offer not only unusual places for recreation, but also for productive work.
In order to make searching for "Forest hotels" more convenient, the national tourism promotion agency "Travel in Lithuania" created a map with more than 30 unusual places to rest in nature: houses in trees, on water, under the open sky or in the thick of the forest in both warm and cold seasons.

Among the treetops
- "House in the tree" (Anykščiai district)
Located in the Anykščiai Regional Park among the pines, the treehouses are cozy, surrounded by hundred-year-old trees, equipped with all amenities, and some with wide terraces to welcome the mornings or accompany the evenings. Currently, there are two types of cabins to choose from near Šventoji river. One is intended for families with children, the other is for larger companies (up to 8 guests). In addition to spending the night among the rustling pines, there is an opportunity to enjoy the pleasures of a Lithuanian sauna.
- "Taurus park" for fans of extreme sensations (Tauragė)
If you are a fan of extreme sensations and overnight stays in ordinary hotels are not for you, then it is worth visiting "Taurau parka" and trying a night in a tree house, established at a height of up to 8 meters. True, the cabin is intended for two - romantics who are not afraid of heights and forest dwellers who live in the trees.
Under the glass sky
- "Alove.glamping" (Alytus district)
Alove.glamping, located in the Alytus district, modernly equipped and perfectly in harmony with wild nature, offers accommodation in a dome at any time of the year. Here you can cook your own dinner in the equipped kitchen, and then count the stars on the cozy terrace with a view of Lake Alovė. True, for an additional fee, visitors can spin the secrets of the sky directly from the hot tub.
- Stained-glass tent "Glamping Club, Bučeliškė" (Molėtė district)
"Miško štilnamis" is another name for the new stained-glass, transparent glass tent for two in Molėtai district, located in the middle of the Labanor forest - in the Lithuanian jungle. The tent-greenhouse has a small kitchen, an entrance hall, WC. It is possible to order a hot tub.

- Indian Hotel (Kelmės district)
Rest with an Indian rhythm - that's what you could call the "Wild Wests" campsite, located in the picturesque valley of the coastal bend of the Dubysa River, between Raseiniai and Kelmė, which invites you to spend your vacation according to the oldest inhabitants of North America. Here, not only accommodation is offered in wigwams-tepees, but also an Indian "medical tipi" - a sauna.
- Bohostay tents (Vilnius district)
You can also exchange a traditional tent for a bohemian-style overnight stay in Vilnius district, near the Dūkšta oak grove and Neries regional park. Next to the authentic tent, there is a sauna, a hot tub, and there is a floating pond with fish right there.
Closer to the water
- "Forest paradise" (Rietava week)
Rest area "Miško rojus", located on a pond - for those who want to get away from civilization. There is no electricity, internet, or other systems that can disturb your rest. Here, next to the house over the water, there is a cozy terrace, and there is a fireplace nearby. The cabin can accommodate 3 people. By the way, a little further, in the forest, there is also the second campsite of "Miško rojas" "Light". It features a two-story cabin with a hot tub on the roof. There is an opportunity to charge a phone and a laptop in the cabin, so you can come for working days. Self-help books can be found in the bedroom.
- Gazeba by the sea "Karkelbeck No. 409" (Klaipėda district)
With the roar of the sea - overnight stay in Asian-style gazebos. In them, you walk barefoot, sit on cushions, and lie down on Lithuanian woolen bedding for a sweet sleep. There is no electricity inside them, but all the necessary amenities can be found in the administration building nearby. If travelers wish, they can order breakfast directly in the gazebos: hot buns, healthy porridge, cottage cheese, coffee or tea.

Located in the woods, the "Etno Hut" cabin has all the necessary amenities, including a small kitchen, in winter you can light a stove. It is a place suitable not only for relaxation in the warm season, but also perfect for celebrating the New Year.
