The National Land Service (NŽT) transferred three plots of land in the capital's Žirmūnai micro-district to the Vilnius City Municipality for management under the right of trust.
These plots will have to be equipped with facilities for recreation and relaxation - an athletics arena and a rowing base with the necessary infrastructure (footpaths, pontoon pier, embankment by the river with stands, etc.) will be built.
The planned objects will provide suitable conditions for improving sports skills not only for professional athletes, but also for amateur or active leisure-loving Vilnius residents or guests of the city of Vilnius.
